How this website handles your information.
This notice describes what happens when you prepare a project enquiry, contact GENAZ or use an embedded service on this website.

Information covered by this notice
Depending on how you contact us, GENAZ may process:
- your name, organisation or school, optional role, email address, telephone number and optional WhatsApp number;
- project category, estimated quantity, delivery location, preferred completion date, optional budget, project direction and notes;
- messages and reference files you send directly by WhatsApp or email; and
- technical request data used to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, browser, device, request time and diagnostic or security information.
We collect project information from you or an authorised representative. Hosting and map providers may collect technical information from your browser as explained below.
Why we use it and our lawful bases

How the WhatsApp enquiry works
The project-enquiry form processes the details you enter in your browser and does not submit
them to a GENAZ website server or database. When you select Continue on
WhatsApp, the website puts the prepared brief in the text parameter of a
https://wa.me/ URL. Your browser sends that URL, including the brief, to
WhatsApp/Meta so it can open the conversation. GENAZ receives the brief only if you then send
the message in WhatsApp.
Do not include sensitive personal data unless it is necessary. You may contact GENAZ by phone or email instead.
Who receives information
Information may be received by the GENAZ team members who handle enquiries and orders, and by service providers needed for the channel you choose:
- WhatsApp/Meta when you select Continue on WhatsApp;
- Google when you email our Gmail address or choose to load the Google Map;
- Vercel for website hosting, delivery and security; and
- delivery providers, professional advisers or public authorities where necessary for an order, legal claim or legal obligation.
These global providers may process information outside Nigeria under their own service terms. Where GENAZ makes a cross-border transfer, it will use a ground permitted by Nigerian data protection law and appropriate safeguards where required.

Cookies, maps and analytics
This website does not use first-party analytics, advertising pixels or code that deliberately sets first-party cookies. The Google Map does not connect to Google until you select Load Google Map. WhatsApp, Google or other linked services may then use their own storage or tracking under their notices.
How long we keep information
- Enquiries that do not become orders are kept for no more than 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or they are needed for a legal claim.
- Order and transaction records are kept while needed to perform the order and for the accounting, tax, warranty, dispute or other period required by applicable law.
- Privacy requests and complaints are kept only as long as needed to resolve the request and demonstrate compliance.
- Technical logs are retained under the hosting plan’s security and log-retention settings.
When a retention period ends, GENAZ deletes or anonymises information unless continued storage is lawfully required.
Your data-protection rights
Subject to the Nigeria Data Protection Act and any applicable limits, you may ask GENAZ to:
- confirm whether your information is processed and provide access to a copy;
- correct incomplete or inaccurate information;
- erase information or restrict its processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- provide applicable information in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contact GENAZ using the details above to exercise a right. We may need to verify your identity. You also have the right under section 46(1) to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children, sensitive data and automated decisions
This website is intended for adults and authorised organisation representatives. Please do not submit a child’s details, measurements, photographs or other sensitive personal data unless you are authorised and it is genuinely necessary for an agreed project.
GENAZ does not use website-enquiry information for solely automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
